<p>Provides a placeholder for Crestron&reg; speakers on a framed wall or ceiling prior to installation of drywall.<br /></p><p>These simple accessories are designed to be attached to framing prior to the installation of drywall in preparation for the installation of Crestron&reg; speakers.<br /></p><p>Plastic models are available to fit all sizes of Excite&reg;, Aspire&reg;, and Essence&reg; in-ceiling and in-wall speakers (excluding the Aspire IWS82 in-wall subwoofer). Each model allows drywall to be installed over the template and acts as a guide for cutting the hole in place.<br /></p><p>Metal models are available to fit all sizes of Saros&reg; in-ceiling speakers (excluding ICIxT series), and are offered in a choice of flat or collared versions.<br /></p><ul><li>The flat version allows drywall to be installed over the template and acts as a guide for cutting the hole in place.<br /></li><li>The collared version accommodates drywall with a precut hole and provides a formed collar suitable for the application of drywall compound for a smooth, finished opening.<br /></li></ul><p>New-construction speaker templates allow for versatile positioning over wall studs and ceiling joists.
